Main componenes in Stevia leaves

The leaves contain apart from the usual main nutritional ingredients (proteins, lipids, carbohydrates and inorganic matter) and secondary plant constituents (labdane diterpene, triterpenes, sterols, flavonoids, volatile oil constituents, pigments) a unique mixture of naturally sweet steviol glycosides .
Those sweet steviol glycosides include amongst others Rebaudioside A , Stevioside, Rebaudioside B, Rebaudioside C, Rebaudioside D, Rebaudioside E, Rebaudioside F,Dulcoside A, Steviolbioside , Rubusoside.
